Responsibilities

Source, identify, and analyze new investment opportunities including interfacing directly with technology company founders and CEOs
Conduct research on portfolios, industry sectors, and potential target opportunities
Build database of contacts and track opportunities
Ability to build trust and support with senior executives as the face of the firm
Arrange meetings with important relationships and contacts
Evaluate new investment opportunities and present recommendations to deal team:
Gather necessary financial and operational information of target opportunities (review CIMs)
Gather deal dynamics
Outbound calling and outreach to initiate conversations with founders, CEOs and key corporate decision makers
Attend local networking events for technology/software or other professional associations
Travel to industry/banker conferences

Required

Strong sourcing abilities, creative and sound business judgment, and professional maturity
Prior experience (1-2 year minimum) in business development, sales, finance, consulting, or equivalent experience
Self-directed, highly motivated, and strong work ethic
Strong communication, writing, and presentation abilities with interpersonal skills to interact with management teams and senior professionals
Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and a team player
Professional and friendly personality -- must enjoy building positive business relationships
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and using the Internet for research
A well-rounded academic background with Bachelor's degree
