Responsibilities

Contribute collaboratively with our research team to target selection and scientific strategy
Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize assays for small molecule screening
Collaborate cross-functionally with biologists and chemists to drive hit finding and structure-activity-relationship (SAR) optimizaton for drug discovery programs
Communicate your science and engage with the scientific community to disseminate your results and tools
Maintain detailed and organized records of experimental protocols and results
Mentor research associates

Required

PhD-level scientist with significant experience in biochemistry, particularly related to the molecular mechanisms critical for the regulation of gene expression
Established track record of publication in top-tier journals
Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical expertise in molecular biology and cellular assay development
Strong ability and interest in scientific communication and community building
Collaborative, communicative, and flexible; eager to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed
Unwavering integrity, accountability, transparency, and respect for others
Deep passion and curiosity for biological discovery on path to novel therapeutics
