ProSearch is hiring on behalf of a confidential IT client for a System Administrator role focused on maintaining, supporting, and optimizing client IT environments. This role combines project-based work with BAU support and is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of System Administration experience.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2022+)

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services

Administer Office 365/Microsoft 365 and cloud environments (Azure AD, cloud identity)

Lead and execute IT projects for client systems

Provide day-to-day operational support for servers, workstations, and cloud services

Document solutions and update ticketing system for continuity and knowledge sharing

Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other network security tools

Apply system updates, patches, and manage antivirus solutions

Troubleshoot basic networking issues (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs)

Work closely with team members to implement best practices

Recommend infrastructure improvements and technology upgrades

Stay updated on Microsoft ecosystem, cloud, and cybersecurity trends

Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users

Maintain professional and positive client interactions

Required

5+ years of hands-on System Administration experience (MSP experience highly preferred)

Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365/Microsoft 365, and cloud services

Firewall configuration and basic networking knowledge

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-service skills

Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

CompTIA Network+ / Security+
