Responsibilities

Material stocking and waste removal

Using a fork truck, stock aluminum tubing on production racks and overflow areas

Stock point of use materials on the line

Stock perishable tooling and supplies on the line

Remove garbage, recycling, and aluminum chips from the line

Alert purchasing when outdoor hoppers are full

Lubricate and package bearings for production or sales orders

Receive incoming material and supplies to ERP system

Required

Material handling experience in a Lean Manufacturing culture

Ability to stock inventory and supplies on the production line

Ability to remove production waste

Ability to unload incoming materials

Ability to keep warehouse clean and organized

Ability to stock aluminum tubing on production racks and overflow areas using a fork truck

Ability to stock point of use materials on the line

Ability to stock perishable tooling and supplies on the line

Ability to remove garbage, recycling, and aluminum chips from the line

Ability to alert purchasing when outdoor hoppers are full

Ability to lubricate and package bearings for production or sales orders

Ability to receive incoming material and supplies to ERP system

Strong desire to learn Lean, One-Piece-Flow, and 5S concepts

Verbal communication skills

Ability to direct others

Use of a forklift and hoists

Valid drivers' license and good driving record

Strong self-driven work ethic

Good decision making and critical thinking skills

Safety orientation

Ability to prioritize workload

Very good computer skills

Ability to use email, messaging, Microsoft Word & Excel

Ability to learn and be proficient with multiple software programs

Ability to use a screw gun, saw, and various hand tools

Physical ability to walk frequently, bend, lift, twist, stand, crouch

Ability to back up shipping clerk and crate builder

Preferred

Basic knowledge of Lean, One-Piece-Flow, and 5S
