This hands-on role involves supporting production lines, identifying and resolving non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities
Provide direct support to manufacturing lines through development and implementation of process controls, methods, and procedures
Monitor, trend, and analyze production defects, leading improvement initiatives to address top issues
Identify, contain, and correct non-conformances originating from the manufacturing area
Support change control activities and production documentation
Coach and collaborate with cross-functional teams on QMS requirements related to manufacturing
Conduct and document technical investigations related to defects and process issues
When appropriate, assist with designing, installing, and executing testing and inspection methods
Maintain strong working relationships across the organization, including operators, engineering, quality, and commercial teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline required; Mechanical preferred)
Will consider candidates with an Associate's degree in Engineering
Entry-level role — no prior industry experience required
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
Comfortable working on the production floor ~60% of the time
Self-starter / go-getter mindset with a strong desire to learn
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Preferred
Exposure to GD&T
Familiarity with statistical analysis methods
