Responsibilities

Design & develop finance dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) covering actuals vs. budget/forecast, Opex/Capex, revenue recognition, and cash metrics

Build/maintain ETL/ELT data flows from ERP/GL and sub-ledgers into curated models for reporting

Validate & reconcile data across sources (GL, sub-ledgers, billing, payroll) and troubleshoot discrepancies (e.g., timing differences, mapping issues)

Author robust SQL (joins, window functions, aggregations) to create finance-ready datasets with clear lineage and controls

Harden data quality with reconciliation checks, tie-outs to the GL, and exception monitoring

Partner with FP&A and Accounting to align metric definitions (e.g., revenue categories, cost centers) and document transformation rules

Support month-end close by monitoring job runs, resolving data breaks, and communicating status/risks

Required

0–2 years in data engineering/analytics; exposure to finance or accounting data is a plus

Strong SQL and understanding of relational modeling and dimensional concepts

Knowledge of ETL concepts and moving data between operational systems and the warehouse

Comfort investigating data issues and presenting clear, concise findings to finance teams
