Procurement Manager

Blum USA is a leading manufacturer of quality hinge systems and other kitchen solutions. They are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing operations, ensuring supply continuity and cost optimization while managing a team of buyers in a fast-paced environment.

Building Materials

Responsibilities

Lead company-wide procurement of materials, supplies, and services supporting operations and growth
Oversee direct procurement of steel, plastic resin, corrugation, powder coating resins, fasteners, and other production materials
Manage pre-paid outbound freight contracts and supplier logistics strategies
Supervise and develop a team of Indirect Materials / MRO / Buyers (4 team members)
Manage asset investments related to machinery acquisitions and building expansion
Partner with Quality, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and Warehouse teams to understand evolving procurement needs
Analyze material availability, market conditions, and cost trends to support informed sourcing decisions
Negotiate supplier agreements, conduct contract reviews, and lead vendor performance and risk management in collaboration with Legal
Lead or contribute effectively to cross-functional and PMO-driven projects aligned with procurement objectives
Ensure accuracy and reliability across direct and indirect procurement processes, including AP/AR reconciliation
Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best procurement practices
Occasional domestic travel within the U.S

Required

Associate degree in a related field required
5+ years of procurement management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of procurement principles including contracts, purchasing agreements, Incoterms, freight, insurance, tax considerations, and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality standards, and cost optimization techniques
Experience in business planning, resource allocation, and performance improvement
Clear and effective written and verbal communication
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development abilities
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to present information to both small and large audiences
Proven success building cross-functional partnerships
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and enterprise systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, MRP)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience sourcing steel, raw materials, or building infrastructure preferred
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
Experience working within an international company is a plus
Professional certifications or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
