Responsibilities
Maintain and update CMMC compliance documentation, policies, and procedures
Conduct internal assessments to identify gaps in cybersecurity controls
Support the implementation of security practices required for CMMC Level 1–3
Coordinate with IT teams to ensure technical controls meet DoD requirements
Prepare evidence, reports, and artifacts for audits and certification reviews
Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and compliance expectations
Assist with risk assessments, incident response planning, and remediation efforts
Work with vendors and consultants during external audits or readiness reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with NIST SP 800‐171, DFARS, or CMMC frameworks
1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or IT governance
Hands‐on experience supporting audits or compliance programs
Familiarity with security tools, vulnerability management, and policy development
