Responsibilities

Establish standards and act as a point of contact for our Enterprise Asset Management software (Maximo)
Assess/identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation. These opportunities will be a combination of, but not limited to, equipment installation, equipment set-up instructions, operation/utilization of the equipment, maintenance procedures, maintenance servicing issues, spare parts, reducing MTTR, etc
Develop and track key maintenance metrics and reporting
Review manufacturing manuals, technical drawings, and documents, and work closely with shop floor technicians and engineers to develop detailed job plans for equipment maintenance
Create and manage assets, ensuring accurate records and effective asset utilization
Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing tasks based on customer and maintenance supervisor inputs
Continuously improve job plans, preventive maintenance (PM) processes, and overall maintenance planning and scheduling strategies
Provide coaching and training to the maintenance team on system functionality and execution to enhance performance and efficiency
Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, ensuring accessibility and support for all employees
Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization
Communicate organizational achievements, team successes, and challenges to leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering or operations)
3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, operations, engineering or operations

Preferred

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience working in a unionized work environment
Experience working with Maximo or other EAM software
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Strong conflict management skills
Ability to manage conflicting priorities
