The role involves designing and implementing security architecture, optimizing server performance, and developing custom integration code and extensions for Keycloak in Java and C#.

Responsibilities

Integrate Keycloak with existing applications and systems and develop custom extensions to meet business requirements

Design and implement security and architecture of the authentication infrastructure

Ensure scalability and security of the authentication system through comprehensive testing, including Test-Driven and Security-Driven Development

Troubleshoot and resolve Keycloak-related issues and plan/execute upgrades with minimal disruption

Write and maintain secure, high-quality code in both Java and C# while conducting code reviews

Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or a related degree

5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, with a strong background in Java, C#, and relational databases

Deep expertise in authentication/authorization concepts and protocols (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect)

Proven experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines

Hands-on experience with Keycloak installation, configuration, and scripting (preferred)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to fast-changing priorities
