Lead Technical Product Owner
Signature Aviation Technology is building the next-generation guest-focused private aviation experience, and the Lead Product Owner will play a key role on our Digital Technologies team. This position will be key to our success by owning and driving one or more components of our digital guest experience and working closely with internal clients to identify and design digital experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities
Work directly with internal clients, end users, product engineering, technology operations, and other product teams
Collaborate closely with Product Teams across Signature Aviation Technology to develop cross-functional solutions
Collaborate with the Product Engineering Manager, SCRUM master, and Engineering team to ensure the quality and timely delivery of application solutions
Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation of various applications
Manage the backlog, prioritize features, and communicate business value and expectations to the development team and stakeholders
Possess excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives
Evaluate business requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Analyze data and processes to uncover insights and trends that inform solution design
Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance standards, and technical feasibility
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding. Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Product Management and web development technical solutions. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and propose enhancements to existing systems
Define the vision, scope, and roadmap of the assigned solution
Supervise all stages of product development, including design and development
Create user stories
Track and assess product progress at each level of the process
Communicate with the product team and end-users to offer updates
Reduce uncertainty by communicating with various stakeholders, including guests, business managers, and the development team, ensuring the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives
Collaborate with assigned SCRUM teams to ensure adherence to Agile principles and values
Validate that the business requirements fully address the project scope, ensuring no gaps and that the solution completely addresses the holistic, project-level business needs
Monitor progress, track metrics, and report status to internal clients
Manage the product backlog to align with the strategic direction outlined in the product roadmap
Develop and communicate the product goal, prioritize and order product backlog items to maximize business value in collaboration with internal clients and SCRUM teams
Work with internal clients on customer (guest) journey mapping exercises to create a shared vision for the guest experience
Take a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration, gathering feedback, and adapting the product backlog based on feedback
Advocate for the product vision when features or changes could distract from the roadmap by communicating trade-offs to management and stakeholders and optimizing the potential for desired outcomes
Expertise in understanding and anticipating client needs to manage the product roadmap and backlog more effectively
Work with SCRUM teams to define a sprint goal, determine items to include in the sprint, and discuss how the team will complete the chosen work
Support Change Management and Training teams by providing content for user manuals and process guides
Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
Serve as the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams, ensuring stakeholder buy-in on major decisions and strategies and providing clear instructions and deliverables for developers
Display an understanding of existing business processes and explore process improvement opportunities
Organize A/B testing scenarios to improve guest engagement and support product goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology and eight plus (8+) years related experience, or ten plus (10+) years equivalent work experience
Experience juggling scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities, and making trade-offs according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders
Experience acting as a Product Owner or SCRUM Master in Agile ceremonies
Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to engage, persuade, and inspire partners and stakeholders at C-level to achieve cooperation and alignment
Preferred
Experience mentoring newer product management resources
Experience defining and setting guidelines and processes for product management across an organization
Experience contributing to the RFP process
Experience coordinating the work of 1 or more product team members on larger projects
Ability to maintain clarity around the product vision despite the changing and fast-paced nature of Agile product development
Experience with eCommerce or other customer-facing internet properties
Experience with business process mapping and re-engineering
Strong understanding of the SCRUM framework, roles, ceremonies, artifacts, and tools
Excellent organizational skills, individual initiative, and personal accountability
Proven track record of delivering products or services in collaboration with engineering teams, as well as a high level of expertise in prototyping, iterative development, and grasp of Agile concepts
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage the demands of multiple projects successfully
Proven track record of effectively driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, covering a wide range of methods such as dashboards, APIs, real-time alerts, and so on
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in product management, project management software, and documentation tools
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts and processes
Certified SCRUM Master or Certified Product Owner certification is a plus
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or relevant technical certifications is a plus
PMP Certification is a plus
