The Quality Assurance Engineer will spearhead testing initiatives to ensure top-tier performance and reliability of applications, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications

Define testing strategies for Salesforce & custom applications, considering various aspects such as integration, data migration, and customization

Execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality and performance of applications

Identify, document, and track software defects through the development lifecycle

Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionalities after new releases

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand project requirements

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA process, create buy in and enact positive change

Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and an ability to balance and fulfill multiple priorities

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in a quality analyst, quality engineer, software engineer or similar role

Knowledge of software development methodologies and quality assurance practices

Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Preferred

Experience with healthcare industry preferred

Experience with Salesforce preferred

Project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus

Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, etc., is nice to have
