The Electrical Project Engineer will oversee electrical scopes of work and ensure the successful completion of projects while leading team members in the development of deliverables that meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
Participate in regular meetings with leadership to review progress, discuss concerns, and identify successes
Participate in project-specific planning, design, construction, and milestones through completion
Lead the project delivery by delegating technical/design tasks and coaching those involved
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project execution
Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation
Lead QA/QC processes for projects and advise on necessary team-wide changes
Conduct quality assurance and quality control on reports, plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines
Implement team specific project delivery processes such as work breakdown structures
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and experience through knowledge transfer to members of the team
Proactively communicate complex issues and solutions
Qualification
Required
Degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of professional liability, quality procedures, and other engineering/technical skills
Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Industry experience specific to construction, electrical codes, or equivalent knowledge
Experience with typical PM software tools, or equivalents, including Bluebeam Revu, Excel, AutoCAD, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, P6, Google Earth, Google Drive, MS Teams, and willingness to learn new and project-specific programs
Ability to break down construction operations into a logical sequence of activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional and polished communication style to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, clients, and government agencies
