Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise-level data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
Architect and implement AWS-based data platforms
Lead and execute data migration projects from on-prem / legacy systems to AWS
Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes
Develop and maintain data pipelines for Snowflake
Hands-on development using Databricks & Spark
Work on batch and real-time data processing pipelines
Collaborate with business, analytics, and downstream reporting teams
Provide real-world implementation examples during discussions and design reviews
Qualification
Required
8–16 years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
Strong experience in AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift/Athena, EMR – as applicable)
Snowflake – data modeling, performance tuning, pipeline development
Databricks – Spark, PySpark
Hadoop Ecosystem
Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, fact & dimension modeling)
Data Migration Projects (end-to-end ownership preferred)
SQL & Python
Preferred
Experience in both Data Engineering (DE) & Data Analytics (DA) roles
Exposure to large-scale enterprise data transformation programs
Working knowledge of reporting/BI integrations
