They are seeking a full-time Quality Engineer responsible for developing and applying quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, responsible for definition and specification of quality criteria, test equipment and methods, and inspection requirements

Maintains liaison between departments typically--Engineering, Inspection and Production to coordinate product quality and process efficiency

Develops product and process performance measurements including generating monthly quality reports for management review, performing trend analysis of quality data, generating special quality reports for customers

Handles/reviews corrective actions, determines responsibility and assigns for completion

Assist in ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO13485, and AS9100 Audits

Reviews procurement documents for adequate delineation of quality requirements to vendors through Purchasing and for adequate Receiving Inspection instructions

Seeks out areas of refinement of materials and methods for cost reduction and quality improvement

Assists with quality surveys by customer or government teams requiring an intimate knowledge of existing quality systems, and the ability to describe applications in terms of various customer specifications

Required

1 - 3 years experience with knowledge of quality specifications such as ISO-9001, IAFT16949, etc

Bachelor's degree in related discipline
