Mid LevelExpandIQ is supporting a client in hiring a Contract Billing Specialist to assist with a short-term initiative focused on NetSuite billing operations. The role involves managing day-to-day billing operations, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with finance and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day billing operations in NetSuite , ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage and execute zone-based billing logic , including validation and troubleshooting
Review contracts, pricing structures, and billing rules to ensure proper setup and execution
Partner with Finance, RevOps, and Accounting teams to resolve billing discrepancies
Support month-end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition
Identify and correct billing errors, process adjustments, and issue credits as needed
Document billing workflows and provide handoff notes at the end of the contract
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite billing
Direct experience with zone billing (required)
Solid understanding of billing operations, invoicing, and related accounting processes
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
Ability to ramp quickly and deliver with minimal oversight
Preferred
Experience supporting SaaS or financial services billing models
Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts
Prior contract or consulting experience in finance operations
