Responsibilities

Develop and implement media and digital strategies to enhance corporate and business unit communications
Situational monitoring and evaluation, identifying opportunities and risks to protect and elevate Walmart’s reputation
Advise senior leadership on strategic messaging, incorporating stakeholder feedback and legislative changes
Serve as a key spokesperson, ensuring accurate and sensitive communication with media and external partners
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain consistent messaging and align communications with business objectives
Lead resource allocation and media measurement initiatives to optimize communication effectiveness
Foster relationships with journalists and external stakeholders to support proactive media engagement

Required

Extensive experience in developing and executing comprehensive media and digital communication strategies
Proven ability to influence and advise senior leadership on strategic messaging and public relations matters
Strong expertise in managing corporate reputation through proactive media relations and crisis communication
Demonstrated skill in collaborating cross-functionally to ensure consistent and effective communication
Ability to analyze business objectives and stakeholder feedback to develop targeted messaging frameworks
Experience leading teams and fostering talent development aligned with organizational values and goals
Commitment to integrity, ethical standards, and promoting a positive corporate culture
