Research Support Assistant

Responsibilities

This OPS position initiates the subagreement budget entry process by creating and establishing budgets in the Bulls iResearch awards system and the FAST Financial system and also sends email notifications related to the subagreements. This process is critical to ensure that the paperwork is processed in a timely manner so that investigators can begin or continue research with their collaborators
Performs other entry-level research administrative support or technical assignments associated with contract or grant funded sponsored projects as assigned, in the interest of departmental objectives

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
One year of data entry experience in an office or administrative support position
Higher education may substitute for the experience
Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree
Two years of direct experience for an associate degree
Six years of direct experience for a master's degree
Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree
Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
This position requires a level I background check
