PACS Analyst (Merative Merge)

CTG is seeking a PACS Analyst to support the Radiology department’s imaging systems and workflows. The role involves providing primary support for clinical applications, ensuring workstation readiness for Radiologists, and acting as the first line of IT support within the department.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary support resource for Merative Merge PACS , Merge VNA , PowerScribe 360 , SyngoVia , and other third‑party Radiology applications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to imaging workflows, system performance, integrations, and user access
Act as the first line of support for all Radiology IT‑related issues, including:
Hardware such as diagnostic monitors, peripherals, and specialty devices
Business applications including the Microsoft Office suite and other department‑approved software
Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
Provision and configure new Radiologist workstations, ensuring:
Correct installation of required applications
Proper configuration of imaging links, shortcuts, and integrations
Successful testing and validation of system functionality prior to go‑live
Participate in the Imaging Team’s on‑call rotation , providing after‑hours support for urgent issues
Maintain documentation, workflows, and knowledge articles to support consistent operations

Qualification

Required

Experience supporting PACS, VNA, or Radiology imaging systems
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and clinical workflows
Ability to work independently in a clinical environment and communicate effectively with Radiologists and clinical staff

Preferred

Epic Radiant certification or experience supporting Radiant workflows is a plus
Familiarity with diagnostic imaging standards (DICOM, HL7) and clinical IT environments
