Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day field operations across multiple active projects

Oversee 70–75 craft employees, including superintendents, foremen, and field crews

Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; ensure compliance with all safety-critical activities

Drive pre-planning, scheduling, and execution to meet project timelines and budgets

Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and efficiency

Monitor job costs, production metrics, and equipment utilization

Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards

Mentor and develop superintendents and foremen, holding teams accountable for performance

Support project managers with schedule updates, risk mitigation, and change management

Maintain strong communication with internal teams, inspectors, and external stakeholders

Required

7–8+ years of experience in utility construction, with a strong focus on natural gas infrastructure

Proven experience with gas distribution systems

Proven experience with end-user gas infrastructure

Proven experience with rebuild, repair, and new installation projects

Proven experience with dry utilities (gas, electric, telecom preferred)

Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and multiple crews simultaneously

Strong understanding of safety, trenching, excavation, and underground utility work

Experience operating within a structured, corporate construction environment

Proficiency with field and project management tools (scheduling, reporting, safety systems)

Bachelor's degree not required — field experience and leadership capability are prioritized
