Assistant Project Manager
CORE is a company focused on managing mid to large-scale commercial construction projects in the South Bay area. They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead construction phase projects, ensuring accuracy in plans, managing project costs, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
Review plans and specs to ensure accuracy
Prepare General Conditions
Establish baseline schedules for each subcontractor or self-performing team
Track project costs and complete change management, RFIs, warranty documentation
Review and process shop drawings and submittals
Assist in writing subcontracts and pay applications
Manage trade partner relationships
Conduct regular jobsite coordination meetings
Supervise all documentation with trade partners
Help maintain client relationships and provide ongoing team communication throughout the project
Qualification
Required
Relevant work experience/internship working for a commercial construction, engineering or architecture company
Basic understanding of construction project sequencing and scheduling
Ability to review and understand drawings and specifications as well as constructability
Ability to negotiate, write and execute all subcontract agreements
Willingness to relocate to or near the South Bay area
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and Procore
Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
A valid Driver's License
Preferred
Professional Degree in construction management, architecture or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction tech, interior design, business administration)
Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
