Responsibilities
Design and develop hydraulic power unit and manifolds that meet customer requirements
Create hydraulic schematics, layouts, and system architectures
Serve as a key technical resource for sales during phone and virtual sales calls
Select and specify hydraulic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability
Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems
Analyze system failures and implement corrective design improvements
Collaborate with production to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
Prepare engineering documentation including BOMs, specifications, test plans, and design reports
Provide technical support to customers, sales, and service teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Fluid Power or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
2+ years designing hydraulic systems (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of fluid power principles and hydraulic components
Experience creating hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
