Responsibilities
Assisting the assigned attorney with managing a caseload from inception to trial
Preparing and arguing motions
Attending and conducting depositions
Representing clients in court
Handling discovery
Scheduling necessary events
Filing pleadings
Assisting with the drafting of pleadings
Working closely with attorneys and other support staff to provide high-quality legal services
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Law and legal principles
Experience with preparing Motions and Filings
Knowledge of Courts and court procedures
Ability to manage disclosure for document intensive cases
Scheduling depositions and IMEs
Assist in drafting legal documents
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to consistently meet billing requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred
Experience reviewing medical records is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
