Responsibilities
Preparing complete technical drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction within a project team; this may include basic cartographic maps or detailed environmental, civil, or geotechnical engineering plans
Organize and manage project data to GZA company standards and best practices
Performing technical execution of projects under the supervision of project managers, staff engineers, and other project staff
Performing fieldwork on an as-needed basis
GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your primary responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree, completed or in-progress, in Engineering Design or Mechanical and Computer Drafting, Technical/Vocational certification, or equivalent training
Professional attitude and self-motivation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to follow direction, work independently or in a team
Strong attention to detail
Problem solving and organizational skills
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite
Solid understanding of trigonometry and geometry
Preferred
2+ years' experience with AutoCAD, experience in Civil 3D is a plus
Demonstrated understanding of ArcGIS basics is preferred, but not a requirement
