(HRY) Customer Service Attendant III
Calvert County Government is seeking a friendly and high-energy Customer Service Attendant to provide exceptional service at the Southern Community Center. The role involves being the first point of contact for visitors, multitasking by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and supervising the front desk area.

Supervises the front desk area
Processes class registration
Processes membership cards and fees
Operates cash register, opening, close-out, etc
Assists with the preparation of financial and attendance reports
Answers telephone
Responds to inquiries for information or assistance
Interprets and explains rules and regulations; reports violations
Staffs special events as required
Performs related work as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two years experience working in a customer service-oriented position
First Aid and CPR certificates preferred
Subject to background investigation if employed in the Department of Parks and Recreation
Requires long periods of sitting, standing, frequent walking indoors, repeated bending, crouching, stooping, stretching or reaching; recurring lifting of objects up to 49 pounds; operation of keyboard devices
Required to work evenings, weekends and holidays
