Mechanical Assembly II - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Responsibilities
Set up workstations, assemble components, load parts, and operate basic tools and semi-automatic equipment
Follow procedures, routings, and written instructions accurately to produce high-quality parts with zero defects
Identify and escalate part defects, ensuring all products meet customer expectations, deadlines, and safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and 5S activities
Rotate across workstations based on business needs to build versatility and support production flow
Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
Complete all required training, maintain certifications, and stay compliant with quality systems and safety standards
Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors on status, issues, or conditions affecting quality or output
Qualification
Required
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred
Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Career Readiness Certification (CRC) preferred
Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
Ability to work effectively in a repetitive, fast-paced environment and meet production timelines
Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from leads/supervisors
Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new software
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
Understanding of the end use of the products being built
