They are seeking a Design Engineer to conceptualize and develop innovative lighting products, perform engineering analysis, and oversee prototyping and testing to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop innovative lighting solutions that meet project goals and performance objectives
Perform thermal analysis, optical simulations, and photometric testing to validate design concepts and ensure optimal performance
Oversee the prototyping and testing of lighting fixtures and systems, analyze results, and iterate designs for improved outcomes
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing and product assembly
Partner with project managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment across all stages of product development
Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and technologies, and proactively recommend new methods to enhance product innovation and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
1–3 years of mechanical design engineering experience with a demonstrated passion for creativity and innovation
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., OnShape, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with engineering analysis and interpreting test results
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within scope

SAP experience preferred
