They are seeking a detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator to facilitate and manage the contracting and licensing operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing agent licensing.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between insurance agents, agencies, and insurance carriers

Process new agent onboarding and contracting

Review and audit contracting paperwork for completeness and accuracy

Create and maintain agent records within internal systems

Follow up with agency staff via phone and email regarding outstanding items, including missing signatures, letters of explanation, and incomplete forms

Research and verify agent licenses

Prepare, process, and distribute Termination of Appointment letters as needed

Prepare and submit electronic contracts through carrier and vendor websites

Support agency staff with agent contracting questions and requirements

Process agent transfers between agencies, ensuring appointments and commissions are reassigned correctly and promptly

Demonstrate working knowledge of contracting requirements for Medicare products, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Annuities

Monitor the contracting inbox and route inquiries appropriately

Respond to phone calls and emails throughout the workday

Assist with additional projects and perform other duties as assigned
