2+ years expFourth Floor is representing a popular fashion brand seeking an Associate Designer to support their Knits team. The role involves providing reliable support to the design team, identifying trends, creating detailed sketches, and assisting in showroom preparations.

Responsibilities
Provide reliable support to the Design team
Identify new trends, innovations, opportunities, and assist in the creation of seasonal design concepts to final product
Create detailed flat sketches and tech packs with specs
Communicate with the factories in getting all samples, fabrics, trims on a timely basis
Assist in preparing showroom for presentation to buyers
Create presentation decks for virtual meetings
Create CADs based on seasonal vision and make changes quickly as needed
Participate in fit sessions & take fit comments
Issuing production comments for lab dips and strike offs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field
2+ years of experience preferred in design field and/or strong internship experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and PLM required
Excellent organizational and communication
Excellent eye for specs, proportion, fit, and construction
Must be a very flexible/adaptable, a fast learner and can manage in a fast-paced / ever-changing environment
