Responsibilities
Supporting the implementation of social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Drafting and editing content for social media, newsletters, and website updates
Assisting with the creation of visual and video content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro
Learning how to pitch and develop creative content ideas aligned with organizational goals
Supporting basic video editing and graphic design tasks for digital campaigns
Assisting with content scheduling, optimization, and performance tracking
Gaining exposure to social media analytics and reporting to understand audience engagement
Supporting website content updates to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Assisting with communications, public relations, and outreach efforts related to campaigns and events
Collaborating with communications and program staff to learn how messaging is coordinated across platforms
Qualification
Required
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess basic familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, WordPress)
Have coursework or experience in communications, social media, graphic design, or video editing
Be eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and able to work under supervision
Have basic computer and word-processing skills
Be organized and able to manage multiple learning assignments
Preferred
Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
