Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory control
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracy
Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency
Ensure all materials, products, and inventory are handled and stored properly to maintain quality standards
Monitor and manage inventory levels; coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational metrics such as accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery
Schedule and manage staffing levels to meet fluctuating workload demands
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards
Partner with leadership to forecast operational needs and develop process improvements
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

Required

Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
Hands-on, proactive approach to daily operations
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations
Demonstrated success leading teams of 10+ in a production, warehouse, or distribution setting
Experience implementing process improvements and performance metrics

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus
