Responsibilities

Build inclusive, high-performing teams with a culture of curiosity and psychological safety

Drive end-to-end software delivery, ensuring operational excellence and leveraging DORA metrics

Set technical direction for web, microservices, cloud platforms, and event-driven architectures

Integrate tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Amazon Q to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment

Partner with Product, Security, Architects, Project Management, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions

Promote continuous learning and operational excellence, influencing within the team and beyond

Lead the design and implementation of software projects, collaborating across teams to achieve results

Define and evolve the technology roadmap to meet customer and business needs

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field

7-10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years in software engineering

2+ years leading teams delivering complex, distributed systems end-to-end

Strong written communication

High bar for code quality and design

Experience with modern web frameworks (Angular, React)

Experience with mobile frameworks (Swift, Kotlin)

Experience with microservices (Java SpringBoot, .NET)

Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Experience with CI/CD

Experience with event driven architecture (EDA)

Experience with observability practices (New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, etc.)

Preferred

Familiarity with AI-assisted development

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
