Responsibilities
Develop and continuously refine manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and improve throughput
Lead end-to-end engineering projects—define timelines, manage budgets, allocate resources, and deliver measurable results
Direct and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers. Provide technical guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities
Enforce quality control processes, proactively resolve quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Analyze production and labor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement process improvements for financial efficiency
Monitor KPIs (cycle time, scrap rates, yield, uptime) and apply insights to optimize performance
Partner with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective product transitions and process scalability
Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and eliminate waste
Manage equipment maintenance, upgrades, and new acquisitions to support production reliability
Qualification
Required
Experience with CNC Machining is REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, ideally in chip-cutting or similar environments
Proven team leadership experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access a plus
Excellent communication and project management skills
