Responsibilities

Learn and apply company concepts, policies, and procedures
Hands-on hardware development experience with on-market instruments
Concept generation, testing, and analysis of design solutions to address real problems while satisfying the needs of the business
Follows standard engineering practices under the guidance and supervision of experienced engineers
Participate in technical assessment reviews and collaborate with team members on various engineering projects
Present and discuss data within the group, contributing to team knowledge sharing
Makes suggestions to improve work processes and overall efficiency

Required

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a Master's degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Required Majors: Mechanical or Biomedical engineering
Familiarity with searching technical literature
Basic knowledge of and ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications
Understanding of basic engineering techniques and principles
Ability to follow detailed directions and learn from supervision
An interest in increasing quality and promoting a 'Quality First Time' mindset

Preferred

Entry level; prior internship or coursework in engineering preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
