Responsibilities
Oversee Maintenance Departments consisting of approx. 25 people
Control and prioritize the Plant work orders and preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS
Provide support to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager and Production Departments
Review/modify plant production equipment to improve efficiency to reduce downtime
Prepare operating and capital budgets
Organize highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects
Represent Engineering on cross-functional teams
Build, develop and manage engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives
Provide engineering expertise in areas throughout the organization
Manage department budget and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates
Initiate planned maintenance programs for a variety of equipment
Identify, select and manage outside contractors performing services on company property
Develop and direct procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
Recommend methods, materials and layouts for improvement based on production needs and capabilities
Act as internal service provider to the production department to enable continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned
