Heidelberg Materials North America is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. They are seeking a QC Apprentice I, a developmental role designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship for individuals with little to no prior experience in materials testing or construction quality control.

Responsibilities

Assist in collecting and testing materials to ensure product quality and consistency

Operate and maintain lab and field-testing equipment under supervision

Accurately document test results and report any variances or irregularities

Support quality control initiatives and learn compliance requirements

Learn from experienced technicians with the goal of achieving QC Inspector certification within two years of commencing employment

Required

Strong interest in materials testing and construction quality control

Demonstrated ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

Solid communication and documentation skills

Capable of performing physical tasks in varied environmental conditions

Willingness and ability to learn technical procedures and pursue certification

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Expectation to pursue the QC Inspector certification within two years of commencing employment
