Stagehand Technician II - TE

Wisconsin Union is seeking a Stagehand Technician II to support all technical elements of Wisconsin Union Theater’s events. The role involves working closely with production managers and technical directors to execute successful events, maintaining light plots, and training new stagehands.

Responsibilities

Support all technical elements of Wisconsin Union Theater’s season and events
Maintaining working light plots in both venues
Training new stagehands on how to use the lighting consoles
Lighting theater season events
Working with touring productions to incorporate their vision into either theater space

Required

Three or more years of experience in a theatrical event-based field: Required
Ability to operate, prepare, maintain, and repair a wide variety of theatrical equipment and technology, including but not limited to ETC lighting boards and products: Required
Ability to program and design on EOS based lighting controls and Qlab show control software: Required
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule: Required -English Proficiency: Required
Ability to train new stagehands on above listed lighting equipment: Required

Preferred

High School Diploma- preferred

Benefits

$2.50 per hour for night hours worked (6pm-6am).
$0.80 per hour for weekend hours worked. (Saturday & Sunday)
Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal holidays.
