Account Manager

Responsibilities
Support client benefits administration and open enrollment, including managing enrollment timelines, conducting employee education meetings, coordinating with carriers and vendors, completing renewal and new group paperwork, and attending client meetings and wellbeing events
Assist with renewals, proposals, and cost strategies, reviewing carrier renewals, RFPs, and proposals for accuracy, identifying cost-containment or plan design opportunities, and supporting the Team Lead with proposal preparation and carrier coordination
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and organization, assisting with escalated claims, supporting benefits compliance initiatives, maintaining accurate client records, and staying current on employee benefits regulations, products, and market trends
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Maryland Life & Health License
Technical capabilities (proficiency in Microsoft Office applications)
