Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit invoices in accordance with client guidelines and firm policies
Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of billing arrangements, discounts, budgets, and fee structures in financial systems
Partner with eBilling, AR, and internal teams to support timely submissions and resolve billing issues
Serve as a point of contact for billing-related inquiries from attorneys and internal stakeholders
Monitor billing compliance and identify potential issues or risks before submission
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across matters
Assist with billing disputes and coordinate corrections as needed
Support reporting, data analysis, and basic financial tracking related to matter performance
Communicate clearly and effectively across intake, billing, and finance teams
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and use of technology
Contribute to documentation, training materials, and team knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Experience with Elite (3E) or Aderant required
Basic to intermediate Excel skills (formulas, filters, Pivot Tables)
Comfort working with financial data, client guidelines, and billing systems
Preferred
Law firm billing experience preferred
