Business Development Coordinator

The Business Development Coordinator assists the AVP of Business Development with generating leads for sustainable business growth and maintaining relationships with members while performing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Opening new accounts and scanning Member documents
Contacting new Members to assist with onboarding activities
Oversee the Departmental schedule to coordinate off sites and meetings with Business Development Officers, Vendors, and SEG Partners
Respond to Departmental inquiries by phone, email, or written communication
Preparing departmental reports for Management
Maintaining effective relationships with Members and SEG Partners via email, phone, and in-person
Coordinating and arranging Member events, meetings, appointments, and conferences
Assisting with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients
Creating and maintaining SEG Member databases and mail lists
Providing administrative support

Required

High School Diploma – Required
General Education Degree (GED) – in lieu of H.S. Diploma
Two (2) to four (4) years' experience providing direct customer/member service or administrative duties – Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to be detailed oriented and deliver accurate work
Ability to work in a fast paced member-focused environment
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Planning and organizational skills
Ability to report to work as scheduled, flexibility to deal with unexpected events and occasionally attend meetings or events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours

Proven skills in a financial institution
