Third Coast Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer / Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, modernization, and implementation of cloud‑based solutions that support banking operations across Texas. This hands‑on role combines C++, .NET, and SQL engineering with Azure architectural leadership and integration of FIS Core banking systems.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement secure, scalable solutions within Microsoft Azure
Lead modernization of legacy applications and cloud migration efforts
Develop high‑performance applications using C++ and .NET/C#
Design optimized SQL Server/Azure SQL schemas, queries, and stored procedures
Integrate and enhance FIS Core workflows and operational processes
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform)
Maintain observability using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics
Mentor junior developers and support IT Manager in technical decision‑making
Ensure compliance with FFIEC, SOC 2, and internal banking security standards

Qualification

Required

7+ years software development experience
Strong C++, .NET/C#, and SQL Server expertise
3+ years Azure cloud architecture experience
Direct experience with FIS Core or similar systems
Understanding of FFIEC and financial‑sector compliance
Strong communication and mentoring skills
High school diploma or equivalent GED required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred
