Responsibilities
Assistance required in the laboratory such as ordering reagents, keeping inventories, autoclaving, knowledge of lab safety standards and their routine and timely inspection
Carry out laboratory techniques such as Western blotting, PCR, RT-PCR; conversant with tissue culture techniques
Handle mice, including tumor implantation, injections, breeding mice colonies as well as collecting tissues and their processing
Qualification
Required
Familiar with day-to-day assistance required in the laboratory such as ordering reagents, keeping inventories, autoclaving, knowledge of lab safety standards and their routine and timely inspection
Ability to carry out laboratory techniques such as Western blotting, PCR, RT-PCR
Conversant with tissue culture techniques
Experience in working with mice or willingness to get trained and work with mice
Basic knowledge of cancer biology and various techniques used in this field of research
Preferred
A M.S. in Cell Biology/Immunology/Cancer Biology or B.S. (Biological Sciences) with relevant experience (1-2 years)
