Responsibilities
Lead discovery and assessment sessions to evaluate existing Teradata environments
Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts of Data Vault, Dimensional modelling, OLAP design
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog
Proven track record of migrating workloads from Teradata to Azure Databricks cloud platform
Experience in leading and mentoring teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
Lead discovery and assessment sessions to evaluate existing Teradata environments
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in architecting solutions on AWS, Databricks, Spark and Object Store
Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts of Data Vault, Dimensional modelling, OLAP design
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog
