The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an IT Support Analyst for their Athletics department. The individual will provide technical support, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, and assist with onboarding new hires while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolves basic computing issues

Configures end user devices

Provides technical support for Athletic Department computers, mobile devices, and software systems

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all hardware and software systems within the department and making recommendations on improvements

Diagnosing and resolving all help requests in a timely manner

Responsible for the onboarding of new hires and providing them with the correct equipment, such as computer and mobile devices

Provide IT and AV support for Athletics functions, events, activities, facilities

Responsible for maintaining/configuring computing equipment located in multiple locations

Must be able to function with standard PC and Mac equipment located throughout the University as well as telephony systems and software applications

Position will be required to travel to various facilities of the Athletics department

Occasional moving and lifting of heavy objects

Responsible for installation of office systems as well as on-going troubleshooting

Conduct training presentations

Provide IT and AV support for Athletics functions, events, activities, facilities

Responsible for maintaining/configuring computing equipment located in multiple locations

Requires extensive knowledge of operating systems and networking technology

Must be able to function with standard PC and Mac equipment located throughout the University as well as telephony systems and software applications

Position will be required to travel to various facilities of the Athletics department

Occasional moving and lifting of heavy objects

Not a sedentary position

Responsible for installation of office systems as well as on-going troubleshooting

Conduct training presentations

Involves lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Minimum Education Level Required: Associate's Degree

Minimum Years Of Experience Required: No experience required

Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement

Work Schedule: M-F bus hrs. On occasion, some evening and weekend work may be necessary

Work Arrangement: On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab

Background Check: For position finalists, employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check
