4+ years expPiper Companies is seeking a Lead Azure Systems Engineer to join a high-impact, cross-functional engineering team. This individual will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure solutions
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Azure resources across environments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deploy hybrid cloud/on-prem solutions
Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues escalated from Help Desk or identified during design phases
Stay current with emerging Azure technologies and industry best practices
Create and maintain detailed system documentation including architecture diagrams and test plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or similar role
Deep understanding of Azure service models (Serverless, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Proven experience with cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization
Azure certifications required (minimum: Azure Administrator)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred
Experience with M365, Intune, PP&C, UEM, and IAM is a strong plus
