Responsibilities
Design control systems for electrically powered equipment, including hoists, vertical belts, and skip loading systems
Design medium- and low-voltage site power distribution systems for mining and heavy civil construction projects
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in collaboration with a team of engineers
Work with vendors to specify and procure standard (off-the-shelf) components
Review designs to ensure fit, function, and engineering accuracy
Ensure final designs meet customer requirements and internal standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the electrical field
Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical equipment
Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
