Technical Support Specialist
Radiant Dev is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to serve as the primary bridge between customers, sales, and engineering teams. The role involves managing field issues, performing troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering to provide long-term solutions for medical devices.
Responsibilities
Receive, triage, and manage product-related inquiries and issues; maintain an organized issue-tracking system; perform hands-on troubleshooting to reproduce and isolate root causes; provide timely updates and resolution summaries to stakeholders; coordinate RMA processing and device repairs to ensure satisfaction. Travel occasionally to customer sites
Support customer integration of devices into hospital electronic systems; identify recurring field issues and collaborate with engineering on resolutions; maintain a structured feedback system for product insights; document issues thoroughly and maintain accurate case notes. Draft, develop, and maintain clear troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and service manuals
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician, Clinical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar technical role supporting medical devices
Knowledge of device connectivity and integration with hospital networks and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Understanding of hospital or clinical environments, ideally anesthesia, perioperative, or patient-monitoring workflows
Strong mechanical/electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both engineering teams and non-technical users
Professional communication skills and confidence interacting with clinicians, engineering teams, and hospital staff
