LHH is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for processing payrolls, auditing payroll data, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

Process weekly and biweekly payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring correct calculations for wages, bonuses, commissions, expenses, deductions, garnishments, and taxes

Analyze and reconcile Workday audit reports; prepare payroll reports for management and audit purposes

Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues within established SLAs

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in compliance with internal controls

Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely tax filings, remittances, and garnishment processing

Support internal and external payroll audits and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and provincial regulations

Utilize Workday reporting for quarterly and year-end reconciliations and tax adjustments

Maintain payroll SOPs, support compliance initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency
