Marketing & Event Coordinator
Peerless Midwest, Inc. (PMI) is seeking a motivated and organized Marketing & Events Coordinator to support company branding and event coordination efforts. This role is essential in enhancing PMI’s culture and brand presence through effective communication and engaging content.

Responsibilities
Coordinate company events including meetings, celebrations, trade shows, community events, and internal initiatives
Assist with event logistics such as scheduling, vendor coordination, materials, signage, and communications
Support employee engagement programs and internal campaigns, including ESOP-related initiatives, wellness challenges, and company-wide promotions
Create, schedule, and publish content across company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with PMI’s values and culture
Assist with capturing photos and content from events, offices, and job sites when appropriate
Collaborate with leadership and internal teams on messaging and content ideas
Support the PMI Communications Committee with newsletters, flyers, announcements, and internal messaging
Assist with ESOP communications and employee-focused materials
Help ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications
Create and coordinate the ordering and distribution of branded marketing materials and merchandise, including apparel, promotional items, signage, and company gifts
Assist with maintaining and updating website content as directed
Support marketing needs related to recruiting, proposals, events, and company initiatives
Track basic engagement metrics for social media and campaigns to support continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong time-management and coordination abilities
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Familiarity with social media platforms and content posting best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience with Canva or basic design tools preferred
