Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Partner with the VP of Data Center Strategy and Sales to plan and execute the sales roadmap for Lumen’s data center business, ensuring alignment with corporate transformation goals and market demands
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and executive stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth
Sales Strategy Support: Collaborate with sales enablement and strategic engagement teams to ensure pursuit quality control and scalable sales lifecycle processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to deliver integrated solutions that enhance service delivery and cost efficiency
Infrastructure Expansion: Oversee bandwidth upgrades, PoP enhancements, and metro market expansion initiatives to support high-speed, low-latency network capabilities
AI & Cloud Enablement: Champion multi-cloud and AI integration strategies, positioning Lumen as a leader in next-gen data center services
Operational Excellence: Implement governance models, service definitions, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery and accountability
Talent Development: Lead organizational design and talent acquisition efforts to build a high-performing sales team
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in telecom, data center operations, or cloud infrastructure leadership
Strong understanding of AI, edge computing, and hybrid cloud technologies
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
